Gentlemen:
First off, my sincerest apologies to Max as I did not get a chance for a hug
and a goodbye before leaving the courthouse. I got home about midnight.
Now ... under separate cover I will send you some of my observations of
the camp for your consideration when planning and executing future
camps. But that is not my immediate reason for writing.
The purpose of this note is that I am compelled to write and let you know
that I am filled with such an intense sense of gratitude. The camp that you
offered this weekend fills a tremendous void in my education and training
as a consumer advocate. It is simply impossible for me (or anyone else) to
gain the real-life practical litigation knowledge and skills outside of your
camp. The lessons you offered are simply not being taught in any other
venue from the consumer advocate standpoint.
As I told Max at lunch, my competence drives my confidence. Confidence
is everything to a litigator! Otherwise, the other side will smell it and I am
doomed from the start.
Your camp enabled me to gain the tools to function as a consumer rights
litigator from start to finish. I see myself not only succeeding, but excelling
as I endeavor to represent my clients. The practical applications were
invaluable and the example documents will benefit my practice for years to
come. It is the very foundation on which I will build my practice.
Your camp is like the credit card commercial: travel to Lizmere $125 ...
ultimate litigation camp $4,995 ... benefit to me and my practice
PRICELESS!
One of the main goals in life (as I mentioned to Pete this weekend), I pray
that as I apply what I have learned from all of your camps that you will see
what I became just because of you. I want so much for you to see me in
the future and get such a huge sense of pride within yourselves for the
lawyer I have become because of you. I can hardly wait to sift through
everything from the 3 camps and become a respectable advocate, making
a difference in the lives of my clients, one consumer at a time.
You will remain in my heartfelt prayers.
With the utmost respect,
Angela
